Capitec Bank bought Mercantile Bank in 2019 and Mercantile is now a division of Capitec (business banking). mercantile.co.za answers HTTP 301 with location https://www.capitecbank.co.za/ (checked by curl header), so its web presence is Capitec's. Mercantile Bank Limited is not on any of the SARB registered-bank lists (locally controlled 7 July 2026, foreign controlled, mutual, foreign branches). Per Wikipedia Mercantile is now a Capitec division, so Capitec Bank details apply; Capitec's own site is behind a Cloudflare challenge and could not be quoted, so which Capitec code Mercantile business clients should use is unverified here.
