Albaraka Bank Limited (Durban, founded 1989) is on the SARB list of foreign controlled banks, is 64,51 percent owned by Al Baraka Group of Bahrain as at 31 December 2025, and its site carries a 2026 copyright notice and press releases dated up to September 2026. No merger, sale, licence loss or curatorship was found. The only change noted is that the Laudium branch became a cashless Service Centre from 1 April 2025. The retail fee guide effective 1 August 2026 (quoted here) shows it is still issuing current pricing.
